What should a student do if a credit card is declined?

If a credit card is declined for any reason (click here to learn more about possible reasons why a credit card may be declined), the student should do one of the following things:

1. enroll again on your public site, being careful to enter the credit card number, expiration date, security number and ZIP code correctly. When a student attempts to enroll in a class and a credit card is declined, the student will be placed in pending status, so there is no risk in the student paying for the same class twice.

2.  contact you to be enrolled. If a student attempts to enroll in a class but has a credit card is declined, the student will be placed in pending status in the class. If the student contacts you, you can remove the student from pending status, enroll the student in the class and process payment.
