Payment Plans: "Amount to Pay" field

I use Payment Plans for my summer and afterschool programs.  It's a great feature that we love 98% of the time.  However, my families get into trouble sometimes when they attempt to make an 'extra' payment and the "Amount to Pay" field autofills with their total balance due (sometimes thousands of dollars for my families).  Because that field is toward the top of the screen, but the Process Payment button is at the bottom, parents don't always notice that the field autofills.  It would be great if there were a popup screen once someone clicks Process Payment, asking for final verification to process a payment of $x.xx.  Or perhaps the field could be moved to the bottom of the page so it is closer to the Process button and CVV field.  Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Most online payment systems include a final verification step that says "you are about to pay $xxx.xx" to help with that problem, and a number of our customers have noted some dissatisfaction that ours doesn't include that step.

We are experiencing the same issue. One of our staff members has a family member taking classes here and let me observe the payment process. It is incredibly counter-intuitive and a difficult to find screen in the first place.

Second, when he went to make the payment, the full payment appeared instead of the next monthly installment.

This week alone, 3 families have had to have refunds because they inadvertently paid the full amount instead of the monthly amount. A confirmation screen would help with this immensely, as someone else has stated.
